Membership

OREC is a non-profit organization open to the public. We believe that Oklahoma needs to aggressively develop its renewable resources to spur economic development, improve the environment, and preserve our state's position as a net electricity exporter.  Find out more about Membership options here.

OREC Membership Levels

OREC offers both meetings that are open to the public and meetings for due-paying members only. Please contact us at orec2006@gmail.com for price information for any of our due-paying membership options or if you are interested in sponsorship opportunities.

Individual Member - $50

An Individual Member will receive OREC's newsletter on the latest events and news affecting the renewable energy industry in Oklahoma and will be listed in the OREC Membership Directory.

Agency Member - $250

Any individual who is affiliated with/represents a federal, state, or local government agency. They will receive the OREC newsletter, listing on the OREC wesbite, and listing in OREC's Membership Directory.

Educational/Non-Profit Member - $250

An individual who is associated with/represents an educational institution or a 501(c)3 organization. They will receive the OREC newsletter, listing on the OREC website and listing in OREC's Membership Directory.

Corporate Member - tiered membership based on employees

An individual who is affiliated with/represents a for-profit organization who is not an Agency member or an Educational member.

  • 1-5 employees: $250
  • 6-50 employees: $500
  • 51+ employees: $1,000

General Member - No Cost

A general member is any person or entity who has attended at least one OREC meeting in the previous 90 days, and has requested to be considered as a member individual or through their organization.

Volunteer Option

If a person is interested in becoming an Individual/Student Member 10 hours of volunteer time can be worked in lieu of financial payment of dues.  The Volunteer Option must be approved by the OREC Board of Directors.
